Hookloadas are fitted with s-cam brakes as standard to ensure smooth, progressive, controlled braking. In place of the standard hydraulic brakes, optional air brakes can be fitted or dual brakes to enable the trailer to be used on a tractor with air or hydraulic trailer braking. All air braked configurations are load sensed, this ensures the correct braking power is supplied depending on the load, minimising tyre wear and maximising safety. With air brakes for optimum safety you can specify your Hookloada with EBS anti lock braking. EBS can also be configured with RSS (Roll Stability Support), which constantly assesses the trailer and works to prevent the trailer rolling over in the event of driver error. Optional auto-slack adjusters can be fitted to your trailer to adjust the brake arms automatically, resulting in reduced service intervals. Whatever the options you choose, you can be assured of high performance, effective braking everytime you press the pedal.
